Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Administration on Sunday accorded a farewell to outgoing Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo following his superannuation, with senior officers recalling his tenure as a significant phase in the Union Territory’s administrative journey, marked by efforts to strengthen governance, improve public service delivery and accelerate development programmes.
A farewell ceremony was organised by IAS officers in Srinagar and attended by Administrative Secretaries, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Deputy Commissioners, heads of departments and other senior officers of the administration.
During the ceremony, officers recalled that Dulloo assumed charge of the administration at a crucial juncture and worked towards bringing different departments and administrative units together around common goals. They said his tenure saw greater emphasis on coordination among departments, mutual trust and collective responsibility in implementing government programmes.

He also acknowledged the support extended by his colleagues throughout his service and expressed confidence that the administration would continue to maintain the momentum in development and good governance.
Dulloo urged the administrative machinery to remain committed to public service and continue working towards meeting the expectations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
