Khatana took note of the demands and assured participants that their genuine grievances would be taken up with the concerned authorities for appropriate action. He also directed officials from various departments to address the issues promptly through coordinated efforts.

Addressing the gathering, the MP urged officials to use Panchayats to raise awareness about Centrally Sponsored Schemes, particularly those related to agricultural loans, the Kisan Credit Card (KCC), employment generation, financial assistance and marriage assistance.

He encouraged eligible residents to avail themselves of the benefits available under these schemes and said the government’s development efforts should focus on the welfare of economically weaker sections, educated people and tribal communities.

The public darbar was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Anantnag, the Chief Planning Officer, Assistant Commissioner Development, Chief Education Officer, Lead District Manager and officials from the Power Development Department, Public Health Engineering, Roads and Buildings, Agriculture, Horticulture, Tourism, Health, Rural Development, Forest, Food and other departments.
