SRINAGAR: Police in Baramulla have detained an alleged drug-peddler under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (PIT-NDPS) Act.
Police said Muzamil Majeed Bhat, resident of Mohalla Mir Sahib, Baramulla, is a “habitual offender” against whom multiple FIRs have been registered.
The detenue was subsequently lodged at Central Jail Kot Bhalwal, Jammu, police said.
