During the interactions, Gupta briefed the senior officials on the bank’s key initiatives and ongoing measures aimed at supporting economic growth and improving access to banking services across Ladakh.

He also sought their views on institutional banking requirements, regional priorities and areas where closer coordination between the bank and government departments could improve service delivery and facilitate greater cooperation.

According to a statement issued by the bank, the discussions focused on understanding emerging institutional needs and identifying opportunities for developing banking services responsive to the requirements of government institutions and other stakeholders.

The bank said the visit formed part of its strategy to maintain regular engagement with senior government officials to strengthen institutional partnerships and ensure that its banking services remain aligned with changing regional requirements.

It added that closer coordination with the Ladakh administration and other institutions would support its efforts to contribute to the Union Territory’s socio-economic development through improved banking outreach and institutional cooperation.
