SRINAGAR: Tourism Secretary Avny Lavasa on Thursday reviewed the functioning, maintenance and operational arrangements at Royal Springs Golf Course (RSGC), Srinagar, in her capacity as the golf course’s Chief Executive.
During her first review meeting at the facility, Lavasa inspected various sections of the golf course and clubhouse to assess maintenance, operational efficiency and the facilities available to members and visitors.
She was briefed by the RSGC Secretary and the concerned team on initiatives to improve the course and clubhouse, enrol new members and follow up on decisions taken at the Board of Governors meeting chaired by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on June 2.
The review focused on existing arrangements and areas requiring attention to improve the upkeep of infrastructure and delivery of services at the golf course, a prominent recreational and tourism destination in Srinagar.
