BARAMULLA: Baramulla emerged the dominant force at the Inter-District Provincial Level (IDPL) Kho-Kho Championship, winning all six titles across different age categories in a clean sweep of the tournament.
The 18-day championship, organised by the Directorate of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), Jammu and Kashmir, concluded on Wednesday at Higher Secondary School (HSS) Doabgah.
Baramulla completed the six-title haul after defeating Budgam in the Under-14 Girls final on the concluding day of the competition.
Around 720 boys and girls from various districts of Kashmir division participated in the championship, competing across multiple age categories.
The closing ceremony was attended by the Principal of HSS Doabgah, who congratulated the players, coaches, officials and organisers on the successful completion of the event.
District Youth Services and Sports Officer (DYSSO) Baramulla Mushtaq Ahmad Pampori commended the organising committees, officials, volunteers and staff of HSS Doabgah for ensuring the smooth conduct of the tournament.
