SRINAGAR: Police in Baramulla have solved a theft case, leading to the recovery of stolen copper utensils with the arrest of three accused persons, including one juvenile offender, a police spokesperson informed Sunday.
Investigating a case of alleged theft of copper utensils from the shop of Shakeel Ahmad Malik at the Hyderbeigh Market, police with the help of technical and human leads, questioned several suspects. During sustained questioning, one suspect disclosed his alleged involvement in the said theft along with other accomplices. Based on his disclosure and identification, the stolen property was subsequently recovered, police said.
Further investigation led to the apprehension of one juvenile offender and the arrest of two other accused persons — Showket Hussain Mir of Kakerpora, and Nazir Ahmad Dar of Chainabal, police said.
