SRINAGAR: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday expressed grief over the loss of lives in a bus fire incident on the Yamuna Expressway in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
In a post on X, Sinha said he was deeply saddened by the tragedy and conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families.
“Deeply saddened by the loss of lives in a tragic bus fire incident in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. My thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families. Wishing speedy recovery to the injured,” the Lieutenant Governor said.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah also expressed grief over the incident and conveyed his sympathies to the families of those who lost their lives.
He prayed for strength to the bereaved families in their hour of grief and wished a speedy and complete recovery to those injured in the accident.
According to reports, nine passengers were killed and several others injured after a bus travelling on the Yamuna Expressway caught fire in Greater Noida on Thursday.
