DODA: Kathua, Jammu, Rajouri and Poonch recorded victories on the second day of the Inter-District Divisional-Level Under-19 Boys Kabaddi Tournament at the Indoor Stadium in Doda on Sunday.
The three-day tournament, being organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) under the approved activity calendar of the Directorate of Youth Services and Sports, Jammu and Kashmir, features teams from across the Jammu division.
In Pool A, Kathua defeated Samba by 16 points, while Jammu secured a six-point win over hosts Doda.
In Pool B, Rajouri registered a six-point victory against Reasi, while Poonch outclassed Kishtwar with a commanding 38-point win.
Officials said the day’s fixtures witnessed competitive contests, with teams displaying strong technical skills, tactical awareness and teamwork.
The matches were conducted under the supervision of referees and technical officials to ensure adherence to the rules and fair play standards.
According to organisers, the tournament is being held with support from the district administration Doda and the coordinated efforts of departmental officers and field staff.
The competition will conclude on September 14, with the remaining fixtures expected to determine the top-performing teams and potential selections for higher-level tournaments.
