SRINAGAR: J&K Bank has been awarded the “Best Bank Award for Digital Transformation in Banking” at the Navabharat BFSI Summit & Awards 2026 held in Mumbai.
The award recognises the bank’s efforts in deploying digital technologies to enhance customer-facing banking services and improve accessibility across its network.
The award was received by J&K Bank’s Mumbai Zonal Head, Irfan Kawoosa, during a ceremony held at Taj President, Cuffe Parade, Mumbai.
In a statement, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Amitava Chatterjee said the recognition reflected the bank’s ongoing efforts to modernise its services and strengthen its digital banking ecosystem.
According to the bank, its digital transformation initiatives have focused on improving service delivery, expanding access to banking services and enhancing customer experience through technology-driven solutions.
The Navabharat BFSI Summit & Awards 2026 brought together representatives from the banking, financial services, insurance and financial technology sectors to discuss developments in digital transformation, artificial intelligence-driven compliance, digital onboarding, fintech innovation and risk management.
