Srinagar: Apni Party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Friday chaired a meeting with party leaders and workers from several wards of the Chanapora constituency to discuss public issues and organisational matters.
According to a party statement, the meeting was held at the party headquarters in Sheikh Bagh, Srinagar, and was attended by leaders and workers from Natipora, Budshah Nagar, Bagh-e-Mehtab, Chanapora and Mehjoor Nagar wards.
The statement said participants apprised Bukhari of various issues and grievances faced by residents in their respective areas and sought attention towards their resolution.
Organisational matters were also discussed during the meeting. Participants expressed concern over what they described as the government’s failure to address public issues and fulfil promises made during the 2024 elections, the statement said.
Apni Party chief spokesperson and state secretary Muntazir Mohiuddin was also present at the meeting, according to the statement.
