MLA Gulmarg reviews development works, meets public delegations in Tangmarg

Tangmarg: Gulmarg MLA Farooq Ahmad Shah on Saturday reviewed the progress of several ongoing development projects across the constituency and directed executing agencies to ensure timely completion of works while maintaining quality standards.

During his visit, Shah inspected the Shrai–Tumberhama Bypass Road, the ZEO office building at Tangmarg, the Mini Secretariat site and the Devbugh High School building, among other projects.

He interacted with officials and representatives of executing agencies and sought updates on the status of the works. The MLA stressed the need for adhering to prescribed quality standards and completing projects within the stipulated timelines.

Shah also met several public delegations from different parts of the constituency, who raised local issues and developmental concerns. He assured the delegations that their grievances would be taken up with the concerned departments for appropriate action.

The MLA said he would continue to engage with residents and monitor issues affecting people in the constituency.

During the visit, Shah inaugurated two food outlets in Kunzer. Speaking on the occasion, he said such ventures could contribute to local employment generation and support entrepreneurship while catering to residents and visitors.

Later in the day, the MLA visited Ferozepora and Vahipora in Tangmarg to offer condolences to bereaved families. He expressed sympathies with the families and prayed for peace to the departed souls and strength for the bereaved to cope with their loss.
