KULGAM: Deputy Commissioner Kulgam Shahzad Alam on Wednesday visited the Ziyarat Sharief of Hazrat Mir Syed Hussain Simnani (RA) in Kulgam and Ziyarat Sharief Qaimoh on the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi to review arrangements for devotees.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner paid obeisance at the shrines and offered prayers for peace, prosperity and the well-being of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
He inspected facilities made available for devotees, including drinking water, sanitation, electricity, traffic management and medical aid. The Deputy Commissioner also interacted with members of the shrine management committees and reviewed the overall arrangements.
At Ziyarat Sharief Qaimoh, Alam met local residents and representatives and sought feedback on issues related to the development, upkeep and maintenance of the shrine.
He directed the concerned departments to ensure adequate facilities for devotees, address public grievances promptly and maintain smooth management of arrangements at the religious sites.
Senior officers of the district administration accompanied the Deputy Commissioner during the visit.
