Govt orders transfers in administration

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the transfer and posting of several District Mineral Officers (DMOs) and other officials of the Mining Department with immediate effect.

According to an order issued by the Civil Mining Department, Javid Ahmad Malik, JKAS, who was awaiting a posting, has been appointed District Mineral Officer, Pulwama.

Kaiser Ahmed Lone, Geologist Grade-III, has been posted as DMO Baramulla, while Umar Mustafa Mir, Geologist Grade-III, has been posted as DMO Ganderbal, relieving Ghulam Nabi Pintoo, DMO Bandipora, of the additional charge.

Ranjit Singh, a Driller posted in the office of the Senior Drilling Engineer, Geology and Mining, Kashmir, has been appointed DMO Budgam.

Mohammad Saleem Dar, Incharge Mineral Officer, Pulwama, has been transferred to the office of the Joint Director, Geology and Mining, Kashmir, while Zulfikar Mohammad Shafi, DMO Baramulla, has been shifted to the office of the Senior Drilling Engineer, Geology and Mining, Kashmir.

Nadeem Ahmad Bhat, Junior Engineer (Chemical), posted in the office of the DMO Budgam, has been transferred to the Chemical and Mineral Testing Laboratory, Budgam.

The order also directs Faisal Masood Wani, DMO Anantnag, and Khursheed Ahmad Dar, DMO Kulgam, to exchange their places of posting.

All officers have been deemed relieved from their present assignments with immediate effect. The transfers have been ordered in the interest of administration.
