Officials presented the district’s performance under key ADP indicators, including health and nutrition, education, agriculture and water resources, financial inclusion and skill development, and infrastructure.

Reviewing the Aspirational District and Aspirational Block programmes, Sahu stressed outcome-based planning, inter-departmental coordination and regular monitoring to ensure effective delivery of government schemes.

The meeting also reviewed implementation of PMDDKY. Sahu directed officials to encourage adoption of high-yielding and improved crop varieties, particularly in horticulture and other high-value crops, to improve productivity and farm incomes.

During a separate review of PM SHRI schools, the Joint Secretary assessed infrastructure development, basic facilities and academic initiatives. He directed Heads of Institutions to analyse enrolment trends, growth and retention rates and emphasised greater parental participation in Parent-Teacher Meetings.

Deputy Commissioner Hamid highlighted gaps and bottlenecks affecting implementation of developmental programmes and sought support for issues requiring intervention beyond the district level to improve outcomes under the schemes.
