SHOPIAN: The Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Shopian, on Monday organised a photo exhibition highlighting the lives, struggles and sacrifices of freedom fighters and martyrs as part of the ongoing Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
The exhibition displayed photographs and brief accounts of national heroes, showcasing their contributions to India’s freedom movement and nation-building efforts.
The event provided visitors, particularly students and young people, an opportunity to learn about the courage, patriotism and sacrifices of freedom fighters and martyrs. The exhibition also sought to promote awareness of the values of unity, national service and dedication to the country.
Officials said the exhibition was organised to inspire the younger generation by acquainting them with the stories of individuals who played significant roles in the country’s struggle for freedom.
The programme was part of a series of activities being conducted in the district under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and the celebrations marking 150 years of Vande Mataram, aimed at fostering patriotic spirit and preserving the legacy of the nation’s heroes.
