SRINAGAR: A man was injured after being attacked by a bear in the Shiv Dakri area of Khonmoh on the outskirts of Srinagar on Sunday, officials said.
An official said the victim sustained injuries in the attack and was shifted to a hospital by his family members for treatment shortly after the incident.
The injured has been identified as Ajaz Ahmad Bhat, son of Abdul Rasheed Bhat and a resident of Khonmoh.
Authorities have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated further action.
