Labroo directed bank officials and Scheme-Based Delivery Units (SBDUs) to speed up the processing of DLIC-approved cases and ensure timely financial support to aspiring entrepreneurs. He emphasised the need for better coordination among all stakeholders to remove procedural delays and ensure smooth implementation of the scheme.

Highlighting the importance of Mission YUVA in promoting entrepreneurship and self-employment, the Deputy Commissioner said eligible beneficiaries should receive support within the stipulated timelines. He also called for regular monitoring of pending cases and proactive engagement with applicants to achieve the scheme’s targets.

He further instructed officials to intensify awareness and outreach activities to encourage more youth to avail the benefits of the scheme and establish sustainable self-employment ventures.

The meeting also reviewed the progress of entrepreneurship mentoring initiatives, registration of Self-Help Groups (SHGs), coverage of college students under the Udyam Jagriti programme and other components of Mission YUVA. Officials were asked to work in close coordination to ensure timely implementation of the scheme across the district.
