Budgam: Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, Sakeena Itoo on Tuesday visited the family of slain Head Constable Ashiq Hussain Qureshi at Lalpora in Beerwah, Budgam, to offer condolences following his death in the recent terror attack in Anantnag.
The Minister, accompanied by Beerwah MLA Dr Shafi Ahmad Wani, Khansahib MLA Saif-ud-Din Bhat, Tangmarg MLA Farooq Ahmad Shah and senior officials, paid tributes to the slain policeman and expressed solidarity with his family.
Interacting with the bereaved family, Itoo said the government stood with them during the difficult time and assured them of all possible assistance and welfare support.
The family thanked the Minister for visiting them and conveying the government’s support and condolences.
