BJP J&K General Secretary (Organisation) Ashok Koul participated in the programme at Booth No. 7 of Trikuta Nagar Mandal along with party workers and local residents. Similar programmes were organised at booth level across the Union Territory, the party said.

Addressing party workers, Sharma said Mann Ki Baat had emerged as a platform connecting the country’s leadership with citizens by highlighting stories of individuals contributing to nation-building through innovation, social service, environmental conservation, women’s empowerment and youth initiatives.

He said organising the programme at the booth level enabled party workers and the public to collectively listen to and discuss the Prime Minister’s message, adding that public participation had become central to governance under the Modi government.

Koul said the programme belonged to every citizen and that the booth-level events encouraged interaction with local communities and constructive public engagement. He said Mann Ki Baat recognised the contributions of ordinary citizens and promoted the spirit of public participation in national development.
