Baramulla: The online registration process for admission to Class VI in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) for the 2027–28 academic session has commenced, with the last date for submission of applications fixed as July 31, 2026.
According to an official statement, eligible students can apply online through the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya official website or the JNV online application portal.
Admission will be based on the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2027–28, which is scheduled to be held on November 28, 2026.
Students born between May 1, 2015, and July 31, 2017 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply, subject to fulfilment of the prescribed eligibility criteria.
Parents and guardians have been advised to complete the registration process well before the deadline and ensure that all required information and documents are uploaded correctly to avoid last-minute issues.
