Srinagar: Following a recent reshuffle in the Information Department, Shabir Ahmad Bhat on Saturday assumed charge as Field Publicity Officer (FPO), Kashmir, while Parvaiz Ahmad Lone took over as Youth Information Officer, Kashmir, at the Joint Directorate of Information, Kashmir.
According to an official statement, Joint Director Information Kashmir Syed Shahnawaz Bukhari, Deputy Director Information Headquarters Kashmir, Deputy Director (Public Relations), Cultural Officer Kashmir and other departmental officials welcomed the officers on assuming their new assignments.
After taking charge, the officers held introductory meetings with officials of their respective wings, interacted with staff and reviewed the functioning of the offices. They also took stock of ongoing activities and outreach initiatives.
The statement said the officers called for a collaborative and result-oriented work culture, urging officials to work with renewed commitment and responsibility to strengthen the department’s outreach across Kashmir.
They also assured officials of their full support and stressed the importance of close coordination for the efficient discharge of departmental responsibilities, the statement added.
