Srinagar: A team of High Court judges on Thursday inspected the site of the new High Court Complex in Srinagar and directed the executing agencies to expedite construction while ensuring quality workmanship.
According to an official statement, the inspection was led by Justice Sanjay Dhar, Chairman of the High Court’s Building and Infrastructure Committee, along with Justices Rahul Bharti, Moksha Khajuria Kazmi and Shahzad Azeem.
During the visit, the Executive Engineer, R&B Project Division-I, Srinagar, gave a presentation on the status of the project, briefing the judges on the phases of construction completed so far and the works planned in the coming stages.
The judges carried out an on-site review of the construction and directed the concerned authorities to accelerate the pace of work and ensure timely completion of the project while maintaining the highest standards of quality and workmanship, the statement said.
Registrar Judicial, Srinagar, Joint Registrar Judicial, Srinagar, Registrar Infrastructure and officers of the Roads and Buildings Department accompanied the judges during the inspection.
