329 junior engineers appointed to Jal Shakti Department

Srinagar: The Jal Shakti Department has issued appointment orders to 329 junior engineers (Civil) selected by the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB), with the appointees posted across various wings of the department to strengthen its technical workforce.

According to an official statement, the appointments have been made from among 346 candidates selected by the JKSSB.

Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology and Environment, and Tribal Affairs Javed Ahmed Rana welcomed the newly appointed engineers and expressed confidence that they would uphold high standards of integrity, professionalism and dedication in public service.

The Minister appreciated the JKSSB for completing the recruitment process in a transparent and time-bound manner and acknowledged the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for expediting the character and antecedent verification of the selected candidates, enabling timely issuance of appointment orders.

Additional Chief Secretary, Jal Shakti Department, Shaleen Kabra also extended his best wishes to the appointees and urged them to discharge their responsibilities with integrity and commitment to ensure efficient and quality public service delivery, the statement said.
