Jammu: In a crackdown on immoral trafficking, Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday said it has uncovered an alleged sex racket in Jammu and arrested three persons, including a woman, for their involvement in the nexus.

The racket was busted during a raid at a house in Akhnoor following a credible tip-off, a police spokesman said.

During the operation, police arrested three accused, including house owner Ravi Gupta, Sarishta Devi and Sahil Sharma, who have been booked under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, he said.

An investigation is underway to identify all those involved in the racket and determine the full extent of its illegal activities, the spokesman said.
