After the foundation stone laying ceremony, the Minister chaired a public interaction at Godhan, where he listened to the issues and demands of local residents, public representatives and officers from various departments.

Addressing the gathering, Satish Sharma said that the government is committed to creating durable public assets and ensuring that development reaches every village and household. He said that infrastructure, including roads, public utilities, healthcare, education, sports facilities and digital connectivity, forms the foundation of inclusive growth.

The Minister emphasised that direct engagement with people is essential for responsive governance and directed officers to remain accessible to the public, address genuine grievances promptly and ensure timely completion of development works while maintaining quality standards.

He said that the government is working towards accelerating development across Jammu and Kashmir with special focus on rural connectivity, youth empowerment, technology-driven governance and improved delivery of public services.

During the interaction, residents and delegations raised issues related to roads, drinking water, electricity, education, healthcare and other civic facilities. The Minister assured them that their genuine demands would be examined and addressed in a phased and time-bound manner.

He also stressed the need for close coordination among departments to ensure effective implementation of development initiatives and fulfil the aspirations of the people at the grassroots level.
