Drug peddler held in Kulgam

Srinagar: Police have arrested a drug peddler in Kulgam and recovered contraband substance from his possession.

A police spokesman said that acting on a specific information regarding transportation of drugs, police established a check point near Chambgund bridge Kulgam. During checking, one Muzamil Ahmad Rather, a resident of Chancer, Kulgam, was arrested after contraband substance in the form of tables apparently VERNOR-N (Buprenophine Hydrochloride 2.0 mg and Naloxone Hydrochloride 0.5 mg), comprising 190 strips (each strip contains 10 tablets) was recovered from his possession.
