The expedition features premium motorbike brands, including BMW, Ducati, KTM and Honda. Participants are being supported by Toyota Hilux vehicles to ensure safety, logistics and operational efficiency across the challenging terrain.

Led by Care My Tours Director Preet Sharma, the expedition brings together experienced riders and aims to promote adventure tourism while reinforcing the principles of sustainable and responsible travel.

Speaking on the occasion, Rodrigues said such initiatives help strengthen Ladakh’s position as a premier destination for adventure tourism. He urged participants to follow the highest standards of safety and environmental responsibility while respecting local communities and protecting ecologically sensitive and wildlife-rich areas.

He stressed the importance of preserving Ladakh’s fragile high-altitude ecosystems and promoting tourism practices that contribute positively to the region’s environment and economy.

The expedition also features participation from noted personalities from the fields of entertainment and photography, including actor Satyadeep Misra. Officials said their involvement is expected to enhance the outreach of the initiative and encourage responsible tourism among visitors.

During the journey, participants will document and share their experiences through various digital platforms in collaboration with Ladakh Tourism, showcasing the region’s landscapes, culture and way of life to a wider audience.

Officials said the Changthang Expedition 2026 aims to set new benchmarks in curated adventure tourism by combining exploration, storytelling and sustainability in one of the world’s most unique high-altitude destinations.
