Jammu: A 14-year-old boy from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), who had inadvertently intruded into this side in Poonch district, was handed over to the Pakistan army on Tuesday, officials said.
Javed Ali, a resident of Tatrinote village of PoK, was detained by Indian Army in Gulpur sector of Poonch on June 9 evening and was subsequently handed over to police for questioning, they said.
The officials said the Indian Army established a contact with their Pakistani counterparts and the boy was handed over to them at Chakan Da Bagh border crossing after completion of necessary formalities.
