As part of the Pragati Path Yatra, the leaders visited the Indian Institute of Management Jammu campus, where they interacted with the institute’s director, toured the library and reviewed the institution’s infrastructure. They appreciated the institute’s role in promoting higher education and leadership development.

The yatra was attended by BJP vice-presidents Priya Sethi and Rakesh Mahajan, MLAs Yudhvir Sethi and Devyani Rana, and district president Rajesh Gupta, among others.

Later, addressing the Sankalp Sammelan at Jammu Club, the leaders spoke about the achievements of the central government over the past twelve years.

Ajay Tamta said the period had been marked by decisive leadership, rapid infrastructure expansion and people-centric governance. He said the government had focused on ensuring that development reached every section of society through transparent and effective implementation of programmes.

Sat Sharma said Jammu and Kashmir had witnessed significant progress through improved connectivity, educational opportunities and welfare initiatives. He urged party workers to take the government’s achievements to every household.

Jugal Kishore Sharma reiterated the BJP’s commitment to the vision of a “Viksit Bharat” and called upon party workers to continue serving the public with dedication and renewed commitment.

Among those present were BJP General Secretary (Organisation) Ashok Koul, vice-presidents Priya Sethi and Rakesh Mahajan, general secretaries Baldev Singh Billawaria and Gopal Mahajan, MLAs Yudhvir Sethi, Arvind Gupta and Devyani Rana, besides senior party leaders and workers.
