Srinagar: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah have expressed grief and heartfelt condolences to Minga Sherpa, Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, on the sad demise of his father Dawa Sherpa.
In a condolence message, the LG said: “My thoughts and prayers are with Shri Minga Sherpa and his family in this difficult hour. I pray to the Almighty to grant strength to the bereaved family members to bear this loss. May the departed soul rest in eternal peace.”
The chief minister also conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family in their moment of grief, an official spokesperson said.
Abdullah prayed for strength and courage to the family members to bear the irreparable loss and for their peace and comfort during the difficult time. He also prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
