BOPEE conducts GNM Lateral Entry CET at Jammu, Srinagar centres

463 candidates appear for entrance test

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) on Saturday conducted the Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to the GNM Lateral Entry Course for the academic session 2026-27 at centres in Jammu and Srinagar.

The examination was held at Government M.A.M. College, Jammu, and S.P. College, M.A. Road, Srinagar, with a total of 463 candidates from across Jammu and Kashmir appearing in the test.

BOPEE said adequate arrangements were put in place in coordination with the respective college administrations and law enforcement agencies to ensure smooth conduct of the examination under the guidance of Minu Mahajan.

The examination was conducted under the supervision of staff deployed at both centres and concluded peacefully without any untoward incident.

The Chairperson, along with BOPEE members, the Secretary, Controller of Examinations and other officials, monitored the conduct of the test at both Jammu and Srinagar centres.

BOPEE officials expressed gratitude to the college administrations, examination staff and district authorities for their support in ensuring the smooth and successful conduct of the entrance examination.
