At the outset, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the status of various revenue-related initiatives and appreciated the efforts of officers and field functionaries in accelerating the digitisation process and ensuring timely completion of assigned targets.

He emphasized the need to maintain the momentum and ensure completion of all remaining tasks and reforms within the prescribed timelines.

During the meeting, Labroo was informed that Srinagar district comprises 137 villages, each having its own Jamabandi record, all of which are being uploaded on the designated portal.

Officials informed the meeting that to ensure transparency and accuracy, digitised records are being taken to villages and read out publicly. Registers are also being maintained in every village to record grievances raised by residents, ensuring community participation in the verification process.

While reviewing the implementation of the online revenue portal jkzameensudar.jk.gov.in, the Deputy Commissioner stressed the need for timely disposal of grievances registered on the platform and directed officers to clear all pending cases at the earliest.

He also emphasized uploading complete Jamabandi records in PDF format to facilitate easier public access and transparency.

The Deputy Commissioner further reviewed the progress of the PM SVAMITVA Scheme and the sub-parcelization of mother maps, directing concerned officers to achieve the targets under these initiatives in a time-bound manner.

Labroo urged revenue officers to continue working with dedication and professionalism to strengthen public confidence in the Revenue Administration and ensure efficient, transparent and citizen-centric delivery of services within the prescribed Public Services Guarantee Act (PSGA) timelines across the district.
