Srinagar: Several delegations from different parts of Jammu and Kashmir called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday and discussed various public and developmental issues.
A delegation led by Gh. Hussain Dar, District President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Baramulla, met the Lieutenant Governor and projected matters concerning the district.
A public delegation headed by Zahoor Ahmed Sheikh also called on the Lieutenant Governor and raised issues of public importance.
Among other visitors were a delegation of the Shri Ram Mandir Thakurdwara Management Committee, Shopian, led by its chairman Hakikat Singh; a delegation from Kupwara headed by Chowdhary Fareed Bajard; members of the Jammu and Kashmir All Departments Clerical Staff Association; and Sahil Muzaffar from Achabal, Anantnag.
The delegations discussed various developmental, administrative and public welfare issues with the Lieutenant Governor.
