Northern Army commander reviews operational readiness in Kashmir Valley

Srinagar:  Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma on Friday reviewed the operational preparedness of the force and assessed the robustness of the anti-infiltration grid along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Kashmir Valley.

“Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, #ArmyCdrNC, visited units deployed along the #LineOfControl in Kupwara Sector to assess robustness of anti-infiltration grid and review #OperationalPreparedness,” Army’s Northern Command said in a post on X.

The commander also witnessed a demonstration of innovations successfully implemented in field conditions to integrate Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) and Counter Unmanned Aerial System (CUAS) with Techniques Training and Procedures (TTPs) for enhanced combat capabilities along the LoC.

“He commended all ranks for their battle-hardened resilience, indomitable courage & relentless commitment to duty amidst a challenging operating environment,” the Army said.

The Army commander stressed the continuation of persistent endeavours to improve battle drills and skills to become technically adept, mentally robust and tactically agile, the post added.
