Srinagar: A delegation of Bharatiya Janata Party leaders led by Anwar Khan on Tuesday called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha in Srinagar.
The delegation included BJP J&K Secretaries Arif Raja and Mudassir Wani, along with party spokespersons Altaf Thakur and Manzoor Bhat.
During the meeting, the delegation strongly condemned the killing of a minor girl in Budgam and demanded strict punishment for those involved in the crime.
The BJP leaders also expressed gratitude to the Lieutenant Governor for spearheading the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir campaign.
In a separate meeting, Gaurav Gupta also called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.
Meanwhile, a delegation of the Apple Valley Resorts Association Anantnag led by its President Manzoor Ahmad Shah met the Lieutenant Governor and discussed matters concerning the tourism and hospitality sector in the region.
