During the visit, the secretary reviewed the overall progress and preparedness of the newly constructed accommodation block comprising 12 suites and six guest rooms equipped with modern amenities and allied infrastructure.

Reviewing the final finishing works, Avny Lavasa directed all executing and allied agencies to complete the remaining landscaping, beautification and allied works on a war-footing basis to ensure timely commissioning of the facility ahead of the proposed inauguration next month.

Officials informed the secretary that the commissioning of the new accommodation block would substantially enhance the lodging capacity at Circuit House Srinagar and ease operational pressure during high-level visits and peak occupancy periods.

Avny Lavasa appreciated the efforts of the Hospitality and Protocol Department and allied agencies in completing the project and said the new facility would strengthen hospitality infrastructure and improve services being extended to visiting dignitaries and guests.
