Srinagar: Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma on Wednesday reviewed the security situation and operational preparedness along the Line of Control (LoC) in Kashmir.
“Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, #ArmyCdrNC, visited forward areas along the #LineOfControl in North Kashmir to assess the existing security dynamics, summer strategy and review operational preparedness across the region,” the Army’s Northern Command said in a post on X.
The Army said that during an interaction with the troops deployed along the LoC, the Army Commander appreciated their unwavering spirit, operational acumen and tireless commitment in service to the nation.
“He encouraged all ranks to pursue excellence in operational capability, remain vigilant, responsive and combat-ready at all times,” the Northern Command added.
