Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education on Tuesday declared the annual regular results of Class 11 examinations for summer zone areas of Jammu division, with an overall pass percentage of 85.83 percent.
According to officials, a total of 43,950 students appeared in the examinations, out of which 37,726 successfully qualified.
The board said girls outperformed boys in the examinations, registering a pass percentage of 89 percent, while the pass percentage among male students stood at 83 percent.
Earlier on April 22, Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education had declared the annual regular results of Class 12 examinations for summer zone areas of Jammu division, recording an overall pass percentage of 89.80 percent.
Officials had then stated that the results reflected a notable improvement compared to the previous year’s pass percentage of 75.95 percent.
