The said immovable property, recorded in the name of his father Mohammad Yousuf Baba, falls under Khasra No. 100 and has an estimated market value of more than ₹1 crore, police said.

Police in Anantnag also attached immovable property worth approximately ₹2.5 crore belonging to a “notorious” drug peddler under the provisions of the NDPS Act.

The attached property includes one double-storied residential house, one shopping complex comprising 20 shops, and land measuring one Kanal and six Marlas.

The property belongs to Javid Ahmad Rather of Waghama, who is involved in case FIR No. 237/2021 of Police Station Bijbehara, police said.
