Officials said that to ensure fairness, transparency, and strict adherence to guidelines issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA), key measures included the deployment of observers, magistrates, centre superintendents, deputy superintendents, supervisors, and invigilating staff. Proper training of all deployed personnel was also conducted as part of the preparations.

Deputy Commissioner Anantnag Dr. Bilal Mohiuddin Bhat, accompanied by ADM Tariq Ahmad Malik (ACR) and other concerned officials, visited several examination centres, including SHMM, GDC (Boys), GDC (Women), and GBMHSS Brakpora, to take firsthand stock of arrangements, logistics, and facilities.

During the visits, centre staff briefed the Deputy Commissioner on measures taken for candidate verification, seating arrangements, and the technical preparedness of the venues.

The DC directed officials to ensure that the examination was conducted strictly in accordance with NTA guidelines and standard operating procedures, while also extending full support and guidance to candidates for their convenience. He emphasised maintaining close coordination among staff and instructed that any issues be immediately reported to the District Control Room for prompt resolution.

He reiterated that the smooth, fair, and successful conduct of examinations is essential to uphold the integrity of the selection process.

Officials said that out of 9,286 registered candidates, 9,112 appeared for the examination, recording an attendance of over 98 percent. Candidates expressed satisfaction with the arrangements and the supportive environment provided at the centres.
