Tangmarg: MLA Gulmarg Farooq Ahmad Shah on Thursday held a public darbar at Tangmarg, where a large number of residents gathered to present their grievances and concerns.
Interacting with the public, the MLA assured that all genuine issues would be addressed on priority, emphasizing responsive governance and timely redressal.
On the occasion of International Labour Day, Shah paid tribute to labourers, acknowledging their hard work and contribution to society. He stressed the need to safeguard workers’ rights and ensure their welfare.
Later, as part of the outreach programme “Aapki Awaaz, Hamari Zimmedari,” the MLA visited Solinda, Katipora, and Qazipora villages in the Tangmarg area. During the visits, he interacted directly with residents, listened to their issues, and took note of their suggestions.
Officials said the outreach initiative aims to strengthen public engagement and ensure that concerns at the grassroots level are effectively addressed. Locals appreciated the programme and expressed hope that their issues would be resolved.
The day-long engagements reflected the MLA’s continued focus on public welfare, accessibility, and development of the Gulmarg constituency.
