The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from local residents, youth, and party workers, who pledged to work collectively towards building a drug-free and socially responsible Jammu and Kashmir.

Addressing the gathering, Koul said drug abuse has emerged as a serious social challenge that threatens the future of youth and weakens the social fabric. He stressed that collective efforts by society, families, educational institutions, and government agencies are essential to effectively combat the menace. He reiterated that the Bharatiya Janata Party remains committed to supporting all initiatives aimed at creating a drug-free society and ensuring a secure future for coming generations.

He urged youth to stay away from drugs and channel their energy into education, sports, skill development, and nation-building activities. He added that grassroots awareness campaigns are playing a crucial role in educating people about the harmful consequences of substance abuse and promoting positive social change.

Dr. Andrabi highlighted the importance of social awareness and community participation in addressing drug addiction. She said society must stand united to protect youth from falling prey to narcotics and other harmful substances.

Mudassir Wani and Arshad Bhat also stressed the need for coordinated efforts to strengthen anti-drug awareness campaigns across Jammu and Kashmir. They appealed to the public to actively support the “Nasha Mukat Bharat” mission and contribute towards building a healthy and progressive society.
