YS&S Bandipora holds yoga event at Wullar Vantage Park to promote drug-free lifestyle

Bandipora: As part of the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyan 2026, the Department of Youth Services and Sports (YS&S) Bandipora on Thursday organised a yoga session at Wullar Vantage Park, drawing enthusiastic participation from students and officials.

The event focused on promoting a healthy, drug-free lifestyle through yoga and physical fitness. Participants took part in a series of yoga asanas and meditation sessions, guided by trained instructors, creating an atmosphere of calm and engagement.

Speakers at the programme spoke about the benefits of yoga in improving mental well-being, building discipline, and encouraging positive lifestyle choices among young people. They also highlighted the need for collective efforts to tackle drug abuse and steer youth towards healthier habits.

Students from various educational institutions, along with officials from the Youth Services and Sports Department and other departments, actively participated in the event, making it a vibrant and meaningful initiative.
