JAMMU: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education on Tuesday declared the results of the Annual Regular Class 12 examinations for the Summer Zone areas of Jammu Division, with 89.79 per cent of students qualifying.
According to official statistics, 39,309 students appeared in the examination, including 20,376 boys and 18,933 girls. Of them, 35,299 students successfully qualified, comprising 18,117 boys and 17,182 girls.
The overall pass percentage stood at 89.79 per cent, marking a significant improvement over last year’s pass percentage of 75.95 per cent.
Girls once again outperformed boys in the examination. The pass percentage among girls stood at 90.75 per cent, while boys registered a pass percentage of 88.91 per cent.
The examinations commenced on February 23, 2026, and JKBOSE had established 336 examination centres across Jammu Division for the smooth conduct of the exams.
Government schools also recorded an encouraging performance, registering a pass percentage of 87.82 per cent.
