Srinagar: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar on Thursday predicted generally cloudy conditions with intermittent spells of light rain and thundershowers across Jammu and Kashmir till April 19, with the possibility of gusty winds and hailstorms at isolated places.
An official of the MeT department said that from April 17 to 19, the weather is likely to remain generally cloudy, with intermittent spells of light rain and thundershowers at many places, particularly during morning and late evening hours.
He also warned of gusty winds with speeds reaching 40–50 kmph and the possibility of hailstorms at a few locations during this period.
The weather is expected to improve from April 20 to 24, with generally dry conditions likely to prevail across the Union Territory.
