He said the agreement marks a significant milestone in strengthening healthcare management, and also aligns with the ‘Viksit Bharat’ vision of fostering skilled workforce development, knowledge exchange and broader societal impact.

The partnership aims to build a robust ecosystem for capacity building, academic excellence and research in healthcare management, with a focus on quality, patient safety and digital transformation, the spokesperson said.

“The collaboration will facilitate joint certification programmes, management development programmes, executive education, research initiatives, conferences, and case-based learning in the healthcare domain,” the spokesperson said.

Under the agreement, he said, IIM Jammu will lead academic design, curriculum development, evaluation and certification, while CAHO will leverage its extensive network of healthcare institutions to support training, internships, placements and industry integration.

The partnership would also enable national and international internship and placement opportunities for MBA (Healthcare) students, he said.

IIM Jammu director B S Sahay said the collaboration marks a significant step towards bridging academia and industry in a sector as critical as healthcare.

The collaboration will benefit stakeholders at large and contribute positively to society, he said, highlighting that the partnership will catalyse capacity building, promote cutting-edge research and strengthen healthcare systems.
