During the course of investigation, he said a team caught the accused red-handed while demanding and accepting a bribe amount of Rs 75,000 as first installment from the complainant in the presence of independent witnesses.

The accused was arrested on the spot and the bribe money was also recovered from his possession, the spokesperson said.
