Srinagar: Police in Anantnag arrested two persons and recovered contraband substance from their possession.
A police spokesperson informed that two persons — Abid Ahmad Naikoo, son of Abdul Gani; and Suhail Ahmad Dar, son of Mohammad Ashraf, both residents of Nagam, Kokernag — were arrested in Hangulgund, Kokernag, after contraband substances resembling brown sugar weighing approximately 5.50 grams and 6.40 grams were recovered from their possession.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Kokernag for further investigation.
