Chief Education Officer Ajeet Sharma and several other officers from different departments were present on the occasion.

Addressing the gathering, Satish Sharma highlighted the transformative power of sports in shaping the future of youth.

“Youth are the backbone of our society, and sports are a vital instrument to harness their energy in a constructive direction. The government is committed to building a robust sports ecosystem that nurtures talent from villages to national platforms,” he said.

Spelling out the policy priorities, the Minister underlined that the government is actively working towards expanding sports infrastructure, strengthening youth engagement programmes and integrating physical education more effectively within the academic framework.

He further stated that initiatives under Youth Services & Sports are being intensified to identify and groom talent at an early stage, ensuring that young athletes from remote areas receive equal opportunities to excel.

Reiterating the importance of discipline and healthy living, Satish Sharma urged the students to actively participate in sports and maintain a balance between academics and physical activities.

The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony where the outstanding performers were honoured with medals and certificates.

The Minister also laid the foundation stone for several developmental initiatives being undertaken to strengthen the public infrastructure in the area.
